Meet the Band
|
In early 2015 Jordan Sane (vocals/guitar/keyboards) and Elena Red (drums/backing vox) began writing for a new project that would incorporate their shared influences, love of melody, anthemic hooks & dynamic live performance. After many months of experimenting with sounds, lyrics & ideas, they started recording demos in preparation for taking their passion for new music from the writing room to the world. With the additions of like-minded & accomplished members Russell Jackson-Wyatt (lead guitar/backing vox) & Tarun Dawar (bass/backing vox), they have solidified a complete, focused & solid unit. Tomorrow's Midnight (a reference to "the first moment of a new day") have crafted a sound and presentation that adds a burst of melody & energy to Canada's rock n roll scene. |
Jordan Sane
Jordan hails from Winnipeg and, after completing an education in both audio engineering and theatre performance, made his way to Toronto where he has performed, recorded & toured with a number of internationally successful acts. While a member of Crash Kelly, Rehab For Quitters, The Howling Bullets & 69 Duster, Jordan recorded albums with producer Gilby Clarke in Los Angeles and toured with Alice Cooper & Sweden's Backyard Babies, among others, traversing every corner of Canada, the US & Australia.
Russell Jackson-Wyatt
Russell emigrated from Dublin as a young boy and was given the Beatles' Yellow Submarine record on his birthday which spawned his love of 60's & 70's music. Then once he got turned onto the Red Hot Chili Peppers & Buddy Guy, all bets were off; Russell received his first guitar and delved into the sounds and tones of a knock-off Strat and a beat up amp. His gear has improved but his classic style and knack for melodic hooks remains.

Elena Red
Elena was born into a musical family and started playing drums at 11 years old. Influenced by The Foo Fighters & The Rolling Stones, she was performing live in local bands by the time she was in high school. Elena has since recorded and toured with Rehab for Quitters (US & Australia) as well as Sista Fista (with producer Ian Blurton) and The Howling Bullets.
Tarun Dawar
Tarun comes from a diverse musical background including alternative rock, punk, reggae & jazz. He also boasts an equally diverse upbringing; born in France, of Belgian/Indian heritage, with stops in Singapore, Belgium & other global destinations before settling in Canada. Tarun has played in various projects within Toronto & London On, which include two Canada-wide tours with Ozgoode and recording with AKA V.
